Dark Landings : The Short Film

Pinochet in Chile with his helicopter death flights has become a poster boy for some radicals in the USA. Next door, less well-known to many Americans, in the same years in Argentina a military junta was kidnapping babies, torturing tens of thousands, and killing many thousands — some with their own horrible version of Death Flights.

In the short film Dark Landings, a little girl who grew up surrounded by death and torture finds herself in the USA forty years later with “Pinochet was Right” T-shirts being worn, and radical leaders advocating death flights for their opponents in the USA.

She decides to take some steps — steps which draw the attention of a strong Police Captain and her superb team of detectives.

The logline for Dark Landings is:

A series of bizarre deaths leads Captain Roe to an unlikely suspect who is haunted by her past — Skye Tanner.
And there’s much more to it than that!

Dark Landings is based on true events: unknown to many, forgotten by some, but remembered by those who were affected and remain so to this very day.

With an internationally-awarded screenplay, Dark Landings reveals Argentinian and US history and brings it to the present in an exciting story full of vivid characters and many surprises! It is the story of one woman’s battle against evil. Rather than any kind of vengeance, she fights for freedom and individual rights.
